Welcome dear music enthusiasts,
Thank you for visiting my homepage.

My name is Nicky. I am a qualified social worker who has been traveling around making music with my acoustic guitar part-time as "Wild in the Forest" for several years now.
​
Since I don't currently write any songs myself and therefore with a heavy heart I can't call myself a "songwriter", I romantically refer to myself as a "song collector".
​
I like to freely pick up songs from a wide variety of genres from the last 70 years of music history and interpret them in a new, acoustic guise. I particularly enjoy opening the musical drawers of folk, pop or songwriters.

Over the past few years, my music has repeatedly taken me unexpectedly to inspiring and impressive places:
As part of the line-up of various (street music) festivals, I have already been able to stand on stages in Germany, Italy and Scotland.
​
A special highlight of my musical career was participating in the "1st Buskers Worldcup" in Gwangju, South Korea. For this purpose, my musical partner Alwin Moser and I were allowed to travel halfway around the world in October 2022 to perform on breathtakingly huge stages in Asia. To this day, we are proud to have made it into the top 65 teams worldwide.
